Product Information
Artist: Zoe Raymond
Zoe Raymond is a very proud Yindjibarndi and Pinikura woman. The artist’s country is in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, but she grew up within the Brisbane (Turrbal & Yuggera) and Sunshine Coast (Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi) communities.
Jersey Design:
This design is centred around the team and its connection to country. It features symbols that represent the players, community and the surrounding landscapes of Brisbane.
The top circles represent the different communities of supporters and sponsors.
The hills down the bottom and the background circles represent the Meanjin landscape.
In addition, the artist has included a serpent (or rainbow serpent) on the jersey, which is the creator of all our waterways, such as Brisbane River.
